A Good and a Bad News I know, I know, I already said that I'm gonna be hiatus. hehehe but here I'm back. My hands so itchy to post these thing. It's a dilema. It's a good news and it is also a bad news. Yesterday night I watched two channels on TV that serves the best reality show in Indonesia. They are Akademia Fantasi Indonesia (AFI) on Indosiar and Indonesian Idol on RCTI. I watched AFI because I want to see Randy's performance. And I watched Indonesian Idol because I'm damn too curious about the result of the grand final. The bad news is... Randy failed to continue his career track to AFI 3's grand final. Although Randy did his very best for the competition, and he always got an appreciation from the comentators, he failed because he got the lowest rate of SMS :( When the eliminated academia announced, even Adi Nugroho felt bad because Randy must go home at that night. He shouldn't go home too soon. Randy, don't be sad because of the elimination, it just one step ahead to enter the big world of star :) You just missed one opportunity to win the contest. Life is full of opportunities. Some will be easy to take advantage of, some will be difficult. But once we let them pass (often in hopes of something better), those opportunities may never again be available. Ewako Randy, you got something in you that will make you a really big star! Even a person such as Trie Utami admitted that too! It's not an unanswered prayer, or failed to victory. It just a delay to victory. "If all results were instant, we could never walk in faith. Without faith, we could never please God. (Hebrews 11:6)". If you always reaped the harvest of your deeds immediately, the incentive to do right and refrain from wrongdoing would only be selfish. No faith, or love for God, would be required. During delays we have opportunity to demonstrate whether we really love God, and trust Him, or not. A delay is a test. Without testing, there could be no reward. God does not test us so that we can fail, but so that we can overcome. He believes we will make it with His help. We desire an instant manifestation of victory. What God desires is for us to press into Him and His Word and walk in faith until we see victory. Oh yeah, I almost forgot... the good news is.. Joy Destiny Tobing is the first Indonesian Idol! Yes, she deserved it. Yes, finally, not Delon. Wow, as I saw on TV, standing applause to her, even from the juries. Nice work, Joy! Don't forget to thank God of this oppurtunity you got. God bless you, Joy! To overcome there must be opposition and struggle. God cannot always shield us from problems without taking away from us the privilege of overcoming. Victory is sweet. What makes it sweet is that it is not easy. If we really trust God, time is not a problem. Leave that with God. His timing is perfect and He is dependable! We know He promised, and can never fail -- and that is enough. GBU, Joy and Randy! ..hehehe ga jadi hiatus lagi ah.. the condition is too interesting to be told :)
